Cara J Barton, OTR/L, CFL1, Pn1 Cara J Barton is an Occupational Therapist from New Jersey. She attended West Virginia University where she completed her Bachelors in Human Performance and Health and Masters of Occupational Therapy. During her time at WVU, she competed on the WVU Road Cycling Team and WVU Equestrian Team. Her passion for health and fitness has fueled her specialty in geriatrics with special interests in adaptive athletics, hippotherapy, and upper extremity rehab. She comes from a professional background in Skilled Nursing, Home Health, and Geriatric Outpatient with further education in Integrative Dry Needling (IDN) and Non-Operative Shoulder Management. Cara further has her CrossFit Level 1 and Adaptive Training certifications where she is able to combine her passion for biomechanics with performance. She further has a passion for nutrition with a certification through Precision Nutrition (Pn1) and certificate in Exercise Nutrition. Cara lives in Bay Village, OH with her husband. and two dogs, Isabel and T Bone. In her free time she trains and competes in olympic lifting, cycling, and equestrian events.
