Terry is a father of 2 and is passionate about fitness as a catalyst for life change. As an avid soccer athlete in college, Terry eventually developed a keen interest in coaching athletics, strength and conditioning and became a youth soccer and hockey coach. Following his passion to help others, Terry became a paramedic on Detroit’s upper west side which eventually led him to a career in the United States Navy as a Helicopter Crew Chief, Door Gunner, and Rescue Swimmer. Terry was able to coach his fellow sailors by leading the command fitness regime and rehab program for his command group. In 2007, while still in the Navy, Terry did his first functional fitness workout, in honor of a fallen soldier. That workout, “Murph” led Terry to become even more passionate about his calling to help others achieve, and it wasn’t long after that he started coaching at a few local gyms in the San Diego area. While in San Diego, Terry also became a Seminar Instructor for RX SMART Gear, enabling him to travel the country. Most recently, Terry held the position of Head Coach at CrossFit Mt. Lebanon in Pittsburgh, PA where he has the opportunity to work with a passionate fitness community.
