Coach Kim has been active for most of her life. She grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina where she was an All-State track runner and varsity basketball player. As an adult, she introduced yoga into her fitness routine and stayed competitive running in half marathons.
Eventually, she began to find a love for high-intensity interval training and could often be found at her local globo-gym jumping over boxes and performing functional movements with dumbbells and bodyweight exercises. In 2013 a local coach noticed her training style and she was introduced to CrossFit. She fell in love with the efficiency and functionality of the training style and knew this would become a long term passion.
Her initial passion for nutrition and body transformation began during her own struggles with body composition prior to CrossFit. Through her education, personal battles and client experience she is a top lifestyle, fitness and nutrition transformation coach with a focus on growth mindset and habit change.
In 2016 Kim moved to Cleveland, OH. She had been working for 10 years as an esthetician in the spa industry when an opportunity arose to start coaching at CTOWN. Here, she began her coaching career and officially launched her nutrition practice.
As a coach, she offers guidance in learning the simplicity of proper food, fitness and wellness choices to achieve the deepest health possible and empower people to reach their personal goals. Her programming itself is designed based off of change psychology, metabolic physiology, and nutrient biochemistry to equip with skills needed to create positive change. These skills are to be applied in everyday life to last a lifetime.
As your coach, she shows you how to achieve your ideal body composition and maintain it—no matter your location or circumstances! You will learn to listen to your body and overcome fears while finding freedom through progress and self-discovery along the way!
“the fear of what might happen is nothing compared to the freedom of self-discovery”.
